Ebay---Is this a real TAD???

tad

Didnt want to say anything until I had the cue and had it authenticated.
I bought it from the guy on ebay, I am gonna have it redone by Tad just to bring it back to as close as original as I can get, if manwon refinished it he did an incredible job, he does very nice work.
I really love the way Tad wraps his cues, this is the main reason.
its in excellent condition, very happy..
wish I could find the very old irish linen that tad use to use, that would be very cool..

Cool...great pick-up.

Is Tad the one that wraps his cues backwards? Or I guess counter-clockwise.

TAD is known for his glass wrap as some people call it. He just happens to press it a certain way where is feels almost perfectly smooth.

Well, I guess, I'm feeling a bit of regret...for not picking this up, when I had the chance.

Good purchase...

ken fitzgerald

craig, ken fitzgerald bought this cue in los angeles in the 1970's when we both lived there. he played in the golf game at gage bowl at the time. i have played many games with this cue.
he played so much with the cue he almost wore out the pin and both shafts wobbled bad as you were screwing them on. you met him when he brought one of my cues into your shop for a tip.
after years of playing with it he traded it for a newer cue, i believe he told me it was some type of predator.
as i remember the cue it looks to me like some butt work has been done.

That would mean one of the original shafts disappeared somewhere during its lifetime.
