Ebay mystery cue

i usually stay away from these threads since I'm not interested in buying but, there's been so many "unknown" cues in the past month it's getting silly.
points look a sorta short to be a Gus, to me. The rings on the 2 shafts look like JW...my feeling is 99% of the time these cues are adams or helmsetters, lol. seems for the money that may be involved a guy should get a cue Identified BEFORE he tries to sell it, to me if they don't there may be a reason

I was just sort of curious when I stumbled on it and thought the people on here would have a pretty good idea.
Thanks.

Mystery Cue

The pin looks like it could be a custom cue. Szamboti??? I think not. The delrin butt looks like it could have been scabbed on, and if you look closely, clearly the bumper is not original. Buyer, beware.

To put his one to rest. This is the unknown cue that just went for 2550 on ebay. Apparently the guy bought it thinking it could be something that it obviously isnt. Anyone interested, dont be. This is a lost cause I believe. If you choose to bid, dont say I didnt warn you. I thought I had some pics the original seller had sent me with the shaft joints, but I apparently deleted them. Trust me when I say they are exactly the same.

Ya know, there's at least 2 different threads in OUR AZ FS Section right now, about a cue that no one here owns.

The practice of starting a thread to advertise someone elses thingamajig on Ebay is really getting out of control.

Before anyone gets all defensive, just think if dozens of us started threads about crap listed on Ebay; there would be HUNDREDS of threads here - daily - for stuff that's not even available to buy here.

Frankly, if someone can find their way to AZ and look at this section, they can (and already HAVE) found their way to Ebay and perused the cues listed there.

Yesterday someone started a thread about a cue on Ebay, claiming it looked fraudulent. Most of us already saw the listing. Even if it was fraudulent (NO reason to think it was), why list it here?? Notify Ebay, not us.

This is the AZ BILLIARDS FOR SALE area, folks. It's not the "look what I found on Ebay that nobody else has the skills to find and by putting it here makes me look cool" area.

And the "look what a steal this cue is, though it's not mine" threads? Can you say SELF-DEFEATING??

Promoting YOUR item that is available both here and Ebay is a different story.
