mrparks, Howdy;

copy-paste from when he purchased it???

No information has been provided from him. I did contact Omen cues and Pete says it looks like one that was sent to him to have the black paint re-touched in a couple of places. So, the guy knew it wasn't ebony but advertised it as such.

. . . assuming the guy who obtained repair is one and the same as OP's seller . . .

File a claim with ebay, they will let you send it back regardless of what the seller says.

Beware of this person on eBay. He sold me a cue that turned out to be a very convincing fake. He won't answer any messages after several attempts made.
Well seems you got some solid advice from others. EBay does not mess around when it comes to counterfeit/misrepresented items. Also to the seller feedback ratings are vital. I would see if the seller will take it back if not get with Ebay. If that doesn't work charge back time. Typically a seller is not going to want A potential negative feedback on their account B to deal with a charge back strike. I had an Adams HOF cue that was mismarked, points were not right told the seller I don't believe this is real I was refunded within 24 hours with a return label. Good luck.
