can you believe that a guy on ebay that i bought some tips left me a negative feedback due to the fact i complained of slow shipment......i paid with 7 days and it was with postal money order....did he have to let it clear,hell no......then it took almost 2 weeks for him to get me the tips.....look out for the cat.....lagsbilliards.....hes a real jerk......juston

A friend of mine just bought 2 cues off of e-bay, both made by Quest. They are beautiful but I don't know much about Quest. I think I have only heard the name once before (of course I have been away from pool for a while). What do you guys know about them?
Also, my friend didn't have any problem getting these cues through e-bay.

rule #1 on ebay, never ever leave feedback first, to me this is common sense, i have a few sellers that never left me feedback at all, so i never left any for them, you don't have to leave feedback. The person who gets their end first would be the seller, so the seller should leave feedback first, but i bought two things a couple weeks ago, one seller left feedback immediatly, the other never left feedback, and i doubt he ever will. I guess it goes both ways though, some sellers won't leave feedback until u leave theirs. The reasoning is if they leave u negative feedback first, you can do the same to them.

You did more than "complain", you left negative feedback. If I had to choose, I'd have to side with the seller here. It appears this you are an inexperienced eBay buyer and that this was your first eBay purchase. Sometimes, although you really want your purchase to arrive quickly, it takes a little time. I've had totally shitty sellers, but as long as the product arrives, they don't get negative feedback. Negative feedback is usually reserved for folks who lie, cheat or steal.cuewhiz189 said:

You're rating is -1 that is pathetic, I have seen -2, i'm not sure how low you can go b4 they terminate you're account, I hope you started a new name. If I felt i had to leave negative feedback for a seller, and they never left feedback for me, i would just make a new account, bid on one of their auctions, not pay, then leave negative feedback.

It ended on the first, you waited til the 7th to get a money order? To you're defense, that makes no sense, if you are in that big of a hurry, you would of gotten one within the next day or two. My biggest complaint about ebay is shipping, i cannot believe u paid $4 shipping for two tips, that is unreal

johnson.....i sent this guy email asking about tips and he never replied and then when he did reply he said he wouldnt leav feed back till i did......and for your info....i was not able to get to town due to being sick till the 7th....so i sent it out as soon as i got it.....i still think this guy is a ass...he wouldnt even leave feedback after getting paid...i was under the impression that a seller should leave feed back upon payment or after not recieving payment after reasonable time.......maybe im wrong but it has burnt me from wanting to buy through ebay.....i felt like 9 days was more than enough time for him to recieve my money order and then for me to recieve my package......and can you believe he is talking about ups....it came regular mail......after looking i could not believe that it cost me another 4 doallrs either.....just another way for someone to pocket money ......i think he was a rally shitty seller and would not recommend anyone ever use him.......but hey thats just me......maybe im in the wrong but i dont believe so.......juston

The first thing u look at when deciding on bidding on any ebay auction is shipping. The shipping is listed, if you don't agree with it, then don't bid, now if they over charge you more than what was stated you could complain. I wonder if that's denver that sold you that stuff, he's one of the top players in indiana, I have heard stories of him winning/losing lots of money gambling.

That is where they make an extra nickle is on the shipping. I saw a cue on there once with a 30.00 charge for S&H. I know about the insurance and what that runs, but this was a $150 cue. And other items I have seen have had blown up S&H charges..................gotta read the fine print!
And once again a bad story from ebay.........seems like ebay would take a beating from all the horror stories. But seeing as how they get paid their fees regardless of whos happy and who got what. My dad bought that old brunswick fold up table off ebay. The shipping was more than the table was......we know what it cost to ship it and the guy charged almost twice that. It isn't that uncommon to jack up the S&H to cover the boxes, stuffing, etc. and also the time that it takes to package your item up, take it to the shipper, etc.
And that is why it is posted before you even bid. I know that is the first thing I look at is what it is going to cost to get it to me. Because most of the time after shipping, it is cheaper to buy it local or do alittle more looking around!

I think it sux that one persons bad attitude can ruin a 100 per cent positive feedback record. Ive bought over 200 items on ebay and Ive got one jerk who ruined my record
