I am unsure. However I am leaning away from it. The graining doesnt look right and it is rife with birdseye. I could be wrong though.
It plays great. Its the first ebony cue I have ever tried that I found the hit to be acceptable. It doesnt seem to have that heavy hit that a lot of ebony cues have.
Did you have Tim build it or did it come your way?
I had considered bring it back to Tim and have him change the wrap and put some ivory inlays in it. However the more I look at it I feel any modification would take away from the cue.
How about posting some of the conversion cues that you've designed over the years.
It's been a while since I've seen them, and I just remember how interesting they were.
It would be nice to see them again.
