I don't know if it's real or not...but an ebony Hoppe?

It will be interesting to see where this goes. Too rich for my blood...especially on a "gamble" of "claimed" ebony.

The cue looks to be in great shape, at least from what one can tell from the pics. The butt cap is an eye sore of course.

I've owned an ebony Hoppe...but this cue is not ebony....
...and it's not a 'hopper'...
...and that is not a Hoppe butt plate
