ok, thats kinda true. This is going to be a titlist tribute cue in ebony. The cool part is....the veneers are from the left over stock that brunswick used in the original titlists.

Nice cue, sure looks a lot like Jerry Rauenzahn's work.

that sure didn't take long...haha

He makes some great looking traditional cues.

The veneers look fantastic! They'll look even better with finish on them.

So far these are the only pictures Jerry has sent me. I cant really decide on a wrap, my 2 choices are, white/green linen or smooth black leather.

wrap selection

IMO, I would go with smooth black leather if you're using a brass joint and want it to look like a Hoppe Pro. However, if you're going with a different joint material like ivory, I'd go with the white/light green 'old school' wrap. I have a Scruggs Titlist conversion with this wrap, and it looks great. I'll try to find a pic for you to look at.

Here is something else to consider. I know a guy who is now making reproduction Titlist and Hoppe Pro butt labels. That would be a nice touch on this tribute cue. PM me for details.

Here's the only pic that I have of my Scruggs Titlist right now, but you can see the wrap:
