Here is the next build. Lenny J. was a billiard instructor in Lacross WI who passed away some time ago. I was able to purchase this ebony willie hoppe from his wife this past summer (2014). I was set on sending this blank to Pete Tascarella. However after talking to him on the phone and having a not so pleasant experience, Pete said he didn't even want to look at the cue and "don't bother sending it". I haven't dealt with many cue makers but in dealings with Brandon at Jacoby's I have never herd the words "I can't", basically if you want something built, they will build it and to a quality they will put their name on.
So here are some before pictures;
The original "1st signature" with the dotted I's will be saved along with the 22 stamp.
Ill let the details of the build unfold as i post progress pictures.
Enjoy.
Sorry I lost the photos that i took as this one was being turned down, but here is the outcome. Started off turning the cue a little at a time hoping that it could be made a wrapless, however the cue wasn't quite straight enough to accomplish that. Still I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Thank you Jacoby Custom Cues!
