There was a thread on here sometime back that most people were saying that over the years poolrooms did well when the economy was in the toilet.
Fatboy, myself, and a few others pointed out that their are so many more things to do now than in past dips in the economy. The lotto in Florida is down 15% so far this year. Dog racing and horse racing is way down all over the country. Before this is over there will be 2 or three more dog tracks close and a few horse tracks. The property that the tracks are on is worth more than most tracks can make in 10 years.
My point is that there will continue to be poolrooms closing and very few new ones opened to replace them even when the economy gets better. Johnnyt
