Look Shankster, I didn't even post in this thread, and I dropped it on the other thread after I said I would. I could have continued on, especially since Mr. Wheat made a homophobic comment directly towards me on my way out, but I let it go because I had said I was done. Now you drag me back into this.
Obviously I'm one of the people you're talking about since you mentioned Ali and the other thread and I was the only one in there standing up against Mr. Wheat's libelous posts about her. So regrettably, I'm going to respond to you.

Geese, several of you guys continue to relentlessly attach Eddie Wheat, though I cannot discover what he has done wrong - except say it like it is, and be a new man on the block.
I have nothing against new people on the block. There have been a bunch of new business people coming onto the forum. How many of them can you list that have attracted even close to the amount of negative attention to themselves as Eddie Wheat has?
Oh, I forgot, you're all trying to protect protect Ali or, perhaps, protect the rest of us from him. (Really??)
What's wrong with standing up to libelous posts about Ali? I guess you think that's OK for him to do?
I don't need to protect you from him. Buy all the cues you want from him. It would actually help me because it'd keep him busy so he doesn't have to start so many threads about his cues on here. Honestly, I don't even mind that, but I'd appreciate it if he'd tone down the delivery of his ads a little.
I'm not out to hurt his business, although I do think he should be limited to only a certain number of self-advertising threads in the Main Forum without paying AZ for it. He compares these threads to commercials, but he leaves out the important point that commercials sponsor, i.e., PAY FOR the shows we watch.
So if he wants to be an annoying commercial, "in our face" (as HE describes it), then it's only fair that he pay for it, just as companies that put out TV commercials do.
Actually, it seems to me you guys simply get off on attacking Eddie, and nuthugging each other! But, unfortunately, it appears to me that Eddie can outdo each of you in most everything relevant. He is physically fit and into martial arts (are you guys proud of the condition of your bodies? - ha!), he is a TOUGH pool player (I noticed that none of you "players?" responded when he challenged everyone - something wrong with your game? Perhaps you're shy?). And he's a cuemaker, and you all seem to love cues regardless of whether you can use one or not. (Be careful, or you'll not get one from him, I advise.) And it seems the likes of Strickland and BlackJack are associates of his who appear eager to support him. (Too bad your statures aren't comparable so your badmouthing might mean something.) And, Eddie seems to be a happy family man.
How do you compare, men? I believe we can all imagine why you cower, and jealousy utter insults from behind from your keyboards. But, though Eddie is one man against a group of you, last night for example, and responds rapid fire, on an impromptu basis, to each insult you hurl, I believe he's made a laughing stock out of the group of you.
All I will say about this part is, LMAO at bringing up the term, "nut hugging", and then writing what you wrote above. :shocked2: :killingme:
Now, I've just stated my humble opinion,
You've also made it a point to attack people by calling them immature names. *EDIT, I apologize, this statement was inaccurate. I don't think you actually called anyone names, but you did attack people's masculinity, accuse them of "nut hanging", etc.* And, even worse, you aren't even specifically quoting anyone, just taking some kind of shotgun approach, making it harder for people to defend themselves where applicable. It'd be nice if you spoke directly about any statements that you found so bad by using the quote function, IMHO.
and I expect to get majorly flamed as a result.
I have to admit, I am curious if you consider my reply a flame.
And if you wish to cancel out my few reps, have a ball. (I guess if they go to cancelling yours also, that's OK). But, I would advise that the next time you feel like jumping back on Ed Wheat, consider that the rest of the forum, like I, might see right through you. Again, JMHO
Well, I'll most likely be putting him on "ignore" after this thread dies down, so then we can all be happy again.
