Anyone herd how he is doing? I saw he was having back trouble and that is why he could not make the masters tournament. I hope he is doing better.
 
Tough crowd.

Efren played the World 8-ball championship recently, so he is probably back in the saddle

Even though he's my hero, never ever believe a pool player when they talk of their eyes, health problems, time away from pool, can't make a ball etc.etc.etc. He probably does have that back history but really talking about all players in general. God bless Efren no matter what! Show the scars, Jeanette Lee's got one huge scar almost 3 ft. Long.
 
I think he is fine. His name is in the list of Philipino players for this year's Japan Open from March 19.
Hope he can do well again this year...

That's so true! I remember this one ex-world champion who was in his 60's and practicing tough shots, like spot shots but harder (cue ball is on the rail, etc) on a tight pocketed table and he's talking the whole time to the spectators saying "I can't see sh#t anymore! I wish I had 25 year old eyes again" meanwhile he's firing these long tough shots in like it's nothing!
 
Efren is diabetic.
Has bursitis, arthritis and high blood pressure.
You think he's healthy ?
