I just received a refund from yesterday's disaster of a ppv stream. Anyone else get a refund?

From the email I received just a few minutes ago...

"We apologize for the inconvenience. We have fixed all of the issues related to the live stream system. We hope that you give us a chance to provide you a stream today or tomorrow."

At least they did the right thing and gave me a refund even though I was able to connect and watch the entire match. I said I didn't want a refund. I guess I'll have to give them a second chance.

I didnt buy last nights stream and was skeptical about tonight, but this makes me feel better.

Making things right after something went wrong goes a LONG way in my book.

Yes, I say give them a chance, if they are doing all of that. I didn't even buy it and I went to their site and watched several games when it was early in the match today. Earl was playing mighty fine. No way Reyes can beat him at anything on the 10. I need to buy it for tonight. I was playing poker last night
 
RE: 2nd chance...

We all chipped in for the PPV party between Efren & Earl and we to were not very happy campers! After our technical specialist was able to get us logged on,finally, we were treated to a Charlie Chaplin like video of stop & go. The commentary was so broken up and distorted that we had to, unfortunately, mute the Robles team out. ALL of this aside,
we decided not to go the complaining," we want a refund route" since we were all having a good time laughing at the probable panic attack Alvin & co. were experiencing. Besides the beer was flowing and the laughs were side splitting. Eventually, they did manage to salvage about two thirds of the match and we were treated to some spectacular shooting, playing and extraordinary shot making particularly when Earl kicked in the 8 ball from a tough "EFREN" safety which brought the house down! I would definitely give them a 2nd chance and advise tuning into tonite's broadcast. Who knows what will happen but you can always ask for a refund-just sayin?:eek:
 
I like Inside Pools free stream and I have enjoyed many of them so I am not too mad about paying for this stream regardless of the troubles.
 
I bought the 3 day package and got home too late to catch the action last night. Tried to log in with the Inside-provided logon and password and was denied. Tried everything suggested in the email to trouble shoot, but struck out. Guess some folks were able to view the action. Wish I knew their secret. I admit that I'm a bit technically challenged, but if you use their provided log-on and password, you expect it to work or have clear instructions on how to make it work.

That was the story for many people, and it's nothing you're doing wrong.
A few names and passwords flat out weren't working. And there was no trick to fix it.

What I did was send an email to JR from my main email address...
then I realized it might be a problem because that email differs from my paypal email.
So I sent another email from the paypal address (replying to his original name + password email).
In addition, I sent him a few private messages in the ustream chatroom.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, and a few minutes after my chat message,
my login worked after failing for 2 hours.

I haven't checked paypal for a refund. But really I don't care so much about the ten bucks.
I want to see the matches, live, from start to finish, with decent quality.
Without some guarantee that this problem is completely fixed,
I won't risk another stream payment, refund or not. Though I appreciate them doing the right thing.
