By the way, what I posted earlier was 100 truth, it's human psychology, but then again I can show you nomuous games of the past where Efren misses and slams his cue and show some disgust, it's natural and nomal, I just watched some videos, from the 90s and from the 2000's he usually only does that when he's behind and missing alot, which is again nomal. the smile and the scratch of head usually happen if he's leading, and didn't miss much. again it's perfectly normal and it's not new as OP said.

I really don't know where this coming from tbh, sometimes forums on the internet want to create drama just for the fun of it.

Shit, am I reading this right?

Efren showed 18% more emotion and frustration than usual, so he should probably hang it up despite playing good enough to beat a world champion?

Efren still shows a thousand times less frustration than the average player. As far as I'm concerned, efren's owed a few mulligans after decades of fairly spotless behavior.

About 4 years ago Efren played in the first make it happen 8 ball invitational. He did not win a match.
People were saying he is washed up. Everyone seemed to forget that the previous week he finished second in the world 14.1 tournament. Hardly washed up.
I should mention that the 8 ball tournament was played on a ten foot table.

Efren did pretty well in banks. He's in the 7th round of one pocket undefeated after just beating Scott Frost. .
