Efren is still the magician . . .

Hope he gets some well-deserved rest for tomorrow. Go all the way, Efren! But if you can't, then I hope Shane does! :happydance:

He just beat Alcano in dramatic fashion to make the final 4

Don't count him out! :)

best,

so lucky I've been watching the ppvs. There are only so many golden years left.

I am disappointed that they are not showing efren's match today on the live stream. The man is not getting any younger and unless he wins we may never get a chance to see him play at this level again.

LOL !!! I agree 100% but people have been reporting Efren's decline several years now. He's lost a step, but that just shows how above everyone else he has been from an all- around point of view.

Freddie <~~~ those must have been his Platinum Years

Efren and Earl Strickland have been the most dynamic players during the last 35 years. As the old Polish saying goes: "Old chicken makes good soup!".

I don't see him as losing a step even at his age, unless you're talking about sheer break power.

Even if he has lost a step,it's a step virtually no one else had to start with, although I personally think at his best Mike Sigel is still the G.O.A.T. Tommy D.
