Efren Owns SVB, literally

Scenic is actually about and hour and fifthteen minutes away from me and so small if you drive through and blink your eyes you miss it.

So Efren is the leader of this church? And Shane has some connection to Scenic?, other than growing up in the same state?

I live in SD and own a house. Does that mean I own someone else too?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

If you stand up a bit taller the humor will not pass over your head so much :p;)

Well, not technically, but read this headline.

Filipino church buys South Dakota town

Oh Lord, Iglesia ni Cristo.

If you heard of corporation buying the government. Be ready for politicians buying voters through donations. The old rumor is that this church goal is to overshadow the Roman Catholic itself in both wealth and glory. That the church has more money than the Catholic church in the Philippines tells you something.

Don't know anything about religion, but know this church is a huge political force in Philippine politics. I am visiting Makati, Metro Manila, but will happily leave tomorrow. Been visiting the embassy due to something on this forum and will be reporting about this, here soon.

In The Philippine Islands no one can buy property if they are not Filipino. The P.I. government requires that the deed must show a Filipino name as the owner and that person must own 60% of the property you buy. If someone, like the police, government officials, etc. pressures that Filipino to sell, then friend, you are out of luck.

Welcome to the forum, Jessie. That was my mom's name, so your member ID caught my eye. Not many people spell it with an -ie ending, i.e., J-e-s-s-i-e.

Thanks for sharing the Filipino property ownership law. I did not know that, though I know the Filipino culture has much religion within their family units. Women, unfortunately, IMO, are not heralded in the same business light as men -- well, at least where I stand, which is on the outside looking in.

I look forward to your future posts. This is what makes our forum rock and roll, hearing from new members such as yourself. Again, welcome!

Thank you, but wish my name had been spelled as Jessy, but at the time I was born many girls with the middle name of Jo had their names spelled as "Joe".

I will not post often here. I have posted only in an attempt to prevent injustice done to a stick maker. I have been investigating the comments of Sherm Adamson, Joey Bautista, Jhun Jimeno and Mr. Lindsey David concerning their constant and never ending trashing of an American patriot, the owner of QP Cues. My report will be posted here in three days or so more.

In the meantime check this out,

Jessie

Jessie, I understand what it is like to be passionate about something that is hurtful or may cause anger, but please, please, please don't continue this colloquy on the forum.

Do you remember what happened to Edwin Reyes? We don't need another tragedy related to pool in the Philippines or anywhere else for that matter.

Please consider my words to you in the spirit that they are meant. Drop this now and move forward. I just don't want anything bad to happen to any member of this forum, even if I don't know them.

This is food for thought, Jessie. Please think about it, okay?
