It is finally all in place, The Freezer V's The Magician one pocket challenge match. This will be a race to 8 at Kolby's Corner Pocket in Tempe, Arizona. The match will start at 6.00 and there will be a $10.00 addmission fee. I suggest being there early as we believe that this will have a good attendance. Kolby's Corner pocket will have bleachers style seating set up on at least one end of the table. We will be pre selling some VIP seating to assure you have a good seat, If you are interested in buying VIP seating in advance please shoot me an email and I will keep you updated on availability and cost. I heard that people are flying in from the east coast to see this. I am not a very educated 1 pocket guy to be honest but it seems there are a bunch of people who are real hard core on it. Thats cool,
 
I am guessing this is giong to be taped???

Of all weekends my brother had to pick that weekend to get married (In Cali)...so I will probably be OTR that night.

He can get wed anytime you need to tell him to change the date ;) he would end up divorced before married lol. Yes we are live streaming it and will be putting out the DVD after we get it edited etc. Sorry you can't make it but it is for a good reason.

This is so great! I really wish I could make the trip but you can definitely put me on the list for the DVD. Is there going to be anybody online giving a play by play?

At this point I am going to say that there will not be anyone online doing a play by play but as we move along we may come up with a way to make that happen. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/eclipsepool
 
Were you guys aware that TAR is streaming John Schmidt v Danny Harriman on May 3rd around 9pm EDT time as well? Seems to me that there is a pool of online pool enthusiasts that will pay to see live streamed matchups but you will be cannibalizing each others biz by running it the same night.

I spoke to TAR about it. We understand each others position. This was the only time I could get Efren here in town and who knows when he will be back again. It is unfortunate that it is working out this way, I wish TAR all the best and I believe they feel the same way about us. We are on the same side in fact we talked about them coming to this event if it could be moved.
 
Wow! Any Idea on the stakes ? even ? Will this be free or will there be a charge to watch on Ustream?

Free on the stream, the quality will not be that great I don't think but hey it's free and we will do what we can to make it as good as possible. Just experimenting with this. I would like to make it better down the road but hey we all gotta learn right?

No doubt what match-up I would like to see that night, but I will still buy the ppv from TAR just to support them.

Roy, I am also buying the TAR PPV. I believe in them and what they are doinbg and I also want to support them as much as possible. I only hope that one of them finishes early and that way the viewers can get the best of both.

Bruce, that is the last of my worries to be honest. I think the turnout will be there as we have this in a few area Philipino newspapers and in the right hands of the people I think I need to be concerned about how to turn people away without offending them. The Pool school is the one I need more attendance on. Thank you though for your help.

Thats a shame man, So now I just need someone else in AZ or anywhere to come in your place. Do you think I am asking for too much? $200 for four hours with Johnny and Earl with lots of personal 1 on 1 attention? I don't think so but hey what do I know?
