When you hit the outside of the cue ball with spin your actually aiming at missing the thin cut, yet the outside cueing pushes the Cue Ball to the right back towards the object ball.
This shot is also easier to accomplish when the ball being shot is darker (dirtier/more porous) and thus causes More grip on the ball collision and low cue ball speed (with Allot of cue ball spin speed). I call that the ''gearing effect''.

Push Squirt gearing of the cue ball/obj ball.

Here's how I explained this concept during my yrs of teaching.
If you take a beach ball and hit/punch it to another in a forward fashion in the middle/high or low it goes straight to your friend.
If you punch the beach ball on the outside of center it still goes forward, but somewhat left or right depending on if you strike it at 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock.

I had to because it wouldnt let me download a 16 second video …
Are you confused on how he hit it?
Is this like a WWYD to see if they know what the pro did?
Just watch the cueball path after the shot. It will tell you everything you need to know. Many times on shots like this you just hit it with a center cueball and cut it thin. Looks like it won't go but it will. VERY rarely need to spin/ throw the ball, especially the pros who play with very clean and new equipment.

I would like to know how did he hit the ball with yes

The real answer is that that goofy and broken camera angle makes the shot look like it's impossible. It was maybe a 75-degree cut, judging from the speed of the cue ball and object ball. That's easy and standard -- he didn't even need outside english. On the video, the camera angle makes it look like 110 degrees.

Efrens mind I do not think works like most Pool players, think he thinks & plans differently. Then average person.
