Efren v. Shane TAR

Damn, mama! You are a tuff one tonite.

There is so much that people miss by not watching.

Like hunter Lombardo can't handle the technology.

There is so much that we all miss becuase people dont watch. Like the best thing to happen to pool in a very long time.

Getting score updates and wanting more was what enticed me to buy my first ppv. So there's that.

Dear everyone who wants an update

EFF YOU. This is why TAR is stopping what they are doing. Its what a few buks to watch two of the worlds best players.

I totally get it. Its not like ESPN goes out and post sports scores for other gamers on other networks while they are happening. Oh wait, they do. never-mind.

Oh wait this is the last TAR ever. Why? Because not enought people cared enough to buy the streams. Oh wait. its not coming back. ohhhhhhh

I highly doubt they are betting much if any of their own money on this match, I believe they are being paid well win or lose, from TAR of course!

I may have been wrong about the amount, but I remember Shane talking about a side bet in a podcast. Maybe with Dechaine? I could be wrong altogether.

Thanks for the updates. I got home from work a half hour ago and have to be back in six hours. I couldn't buy the match, but I would have. I've bought a few in the past when time allowed. I'm gonna miss this quite a bit

Beyond the great pool, I'm enjoying the change up in commentary after the intermission bringing Hunter Lumbardo into the booth with Corey.

Lol,
I'm sure theres more to it then that.

And to say it's the best thing to happen to pool, come on Dora. They do a great job at what they do, stream exhibition matches, but to say the best thing to happen in pool is by far a stretch of the imagination.

I wish Justin and Mark the best of luck on everything they do.

I really dont think there is more to it than that.

Pool doesn't make much money bc of advertising dollars not bc of people not buying a pay per view. All the big sports bring in big money on advertising dollars.

That's the ball game... Shane won 20-16. Efren didn't look the same after the break.

That was really fun and interesting to watch. I wouldn't mind seeing more pros play rotation. I think I like these Filipino rules. Does anyone have a link to the BCA rulebook version?

What an incredible game! I haven't watched too many professional Rotation matches, but I have to say this was exciting to watch. Very interesting to see them both get in the zone at different times which resulted in massive momentum changes! I LOVED seeing SVB having to dig down deep to come back from 2 large deficits. Was beautiful to see Efren in stroke, but he really struggled with his consistency at few keys moments in the match.

I was very impressed with the commentating tonight. Both my and bud and I want to shoutout to Corey and crew for delivering a very professional and engaging commentary. Maybe not spot on, but with these players and the number of possibilities on rotation match, it was understandable. Pretty funny how Corey was mocking himself and being pretty humble about those misses. Honestly, I was more than impressed out how well he delivered this evening. Hope he is on the stream tomorrow!

Well done JCIN hosting another great night, and kudos to Cleary for giving me and my bud the chance to see it. A demain!
