Rafael Martinez has been in contact with me about finding a copy of his match with Efren Reyes in the Finals of the Bicycle Club Invitational in the early 1980's. If anyone has a copy of this match (televised on Fox Sports), please let me know. Thank you

By any chance would this match have been shown on ESPN?
I recorded most matches on VHS that played during the 80’s and 90’s.
All in a box in the cubbyhole.

Jerry talked to me last night about this. The Bicycle Club did not open until 1985. I worked there from 1987 to 1995. My best guess is the pool tournament started in 92. I believe Buddy Hall won the first one, Mike Siegel won the 2nd and Rafael won the third, when Rafael won he had a problem cashing his check. a regular from Hard Times got a hold of me and ask if I could do anything about it. I took Rafael to the window and got his check cashed. Unfortunately I did not see the match and I've never seen the tape…………………….Ron.

He did say finals, I think Martinez player Archer in the hot seat match and the final of that SRO.
