Can some one give me a link to the shot where
Efren shoots into the point of the side pocket with
the CB and sends the CB straight down the rail towards the corner pocket.
I have searched but can not find it

Thats a great shot. I used to shoot that and found that there was some consistency to it, but Efren makes it look like it was a duck.

Am I making that shot harder than it really is? Anyone...anyone...Bueller...Bueller?

On a good table all you have todo is split the cueball on the ti.... errr pocket point with follow... On a table with bad folds or bad point cuts it becomes exponentially harder..... Practice it some on different tables while paying attention to the quality of the folds and point and you will start to see when it becomes a tool to put in your belt or one to be left in the box.

Yeah, that was the first shot that came to my mind there....rriiiggghhttt.

Good grief! is there anything that man can't do on a table?

Sure, I've done that accidentally with an OB, the OB hits the point (from a bank or shooting straight in the hole) and darts straight down the rail & into a pocket...but who thinks to do that on purpose?!?!?

Efren said long ago that he learns things from watching bad players. I guess he picked that one up in that manner, huh?

Who else is he going to learn from? It's like teaching Einstein a lesson or two.
BTW Big E used to give his teachers math problems and watch them squirm.

Looks to me like he hit that with bottom left.

After contact with the point, the cue ball curves away from the corner pocket.

After pocketing the OB, the cue ball hits bottom rail and spins out like it had left on it.

Granted, the CB may have picked up a little left off of the OB, but not that much!!!

i'm just a banger who loves to shoot, but come on. who would even think of that shot. he's in a world by himself.

After see'n Efren do something like that it makes everyone feel like a banger. He did it with such confidence, that's what gets me. Dammmmmm.

Holy Crap! i have tried some shots off the point when i had ball in hand in the kitchen to come back for a ball in the kitchen but that is just unreal!

what amazed me most of all is that it took Efren only few seconds to come up with his decision. He just checked the position of the 2 ball and whether he could get position with that very shot. Then he proceeded like it was a straight-in! :)

I know, it was like he'd done this a thousand times before. Ridiculous. Thanks for the link.

This is amazing. Before we get to see Efren's kick shot, we see Chao's jump shot. Like the pool gods purposely positioned the ball that way so we get to see a jump shot by the world's best jump player, then followed by the world's best kick player.
