Efrens no rail spot show...

Nice shot!!!, can you post the masse stop shot one too please?

TheHalfaCouple,
I actually think it is very feasible to curve into the object ball and stop the cue ball (though surely it is a fairly low percentage shot). I don't have a video camera, but if you send me one, I'll be happy to tape the shot for you.

P.S. - Is "one" really "the loneliest number" (obscure Three Dog Night reference)?

I made this shot with a "jacked up bottom inside english" stroke, but the cue ball rolls forward. I can't even come close to stopping the cue ball.

WillieBreak40,
You ca tape it if youre in NJ in two weeks for the Straight Pool, I might go watch :)

Might need a bit of tape!

TheSingle,
If by "bit of tape" you mean "a truckload", you may be correct. While the semi-masse with inside English seems fairly easy, the heavier masse' to try to stop the cue ball seems HARD - I just tried 4 or 5 and never came close to stopping whitey OR pocketing the shot. I think a player would have to spend some serious practice time to hope to make the spot shot and stop whitey (though I definitely believe it is possible).

I won't be able to attend the 14.1 tournament (   ). I have 2 kids graduating from college, and the divorce costs would be astronomical if I decided to miss all the festivities to satisfy my pool cravings. Oh well, maybe next year.
