Eight ball question

Greetings guys
I hope this hasnt been asked on here TOO many times before so im going to give it a shot.
I play straight pool with someone who is pretty much a weaker player and im stronger than, so i go to 75 and she goes to 25 and it works out pretty well. On some days when i am really in stroke i will raise it to 100-25 and it evens out.
Now she likes 8 ball but how do i spot here there ? I was thinking along the lines of taking 4 of her balls off the table but then it makes it easier for me as theres less clutter. We dont play for anything, we both just enjoy the hell out of it. Would a race be a better way ? Say i go to 10 and she goes to 4 ?
Whats the fairest and most used or best way ?
Thanks, i appreciate any and all help.

Maybe some games on the wire, + ball in hand when you miss.

I play in a weekly tournament that makes the previous weeks winner spot everyon else the last 2 balls as long as they are in the winners bracket. That means when my oponent has 1 ball and the 8 ball left on the table they win. That seems like a good way to spot 8 ball. One time I accidentally knocked in one of my opponents last 2 balls leaving him with one and the 8 so I lost the game.

Probably the fairest way is to play Strip 8 Ball.
She will take all of her clothes off first.

Sounds good to me.

Let her shoot the 8 with x number of balls on the table. She can choose to leave the ones that are in the way for you. Once she gets used to the strategy of it, can be challenging to you and fun.

Here are a few suggestions:
1. You play last pocket
2. You play all your balls in order
3. You bank all of your balls

Give her BIH every time you miss. You won't play safe and you'll attempt to pocket more balls. The only defense you have is to tie up balls or go to pure offense. It sharpens both of your games.

Best,
Mike

I used to play my wife when she first started to play. I started out banking every ball. as she improved the spot went to banking the last 2 balls including the eight. then it went to banking 8 in last pocket. then last pocket for last 2 balls incuding 8 and so forth. she cracks on me that she used to be my personal racker, but her game has improved greatly. she loves to play pool and probably will for the rest of her life. my advice is to not being set to a particular game and/or spot. when we played 9 ball, if i broke and made a ball then i could run out or if she broke and it was my first shot i could runnout, if i ever missed then my next shot would have to be a bank, combination or kick. then i could try and runnout. make the spot tough on u not her. good luck.

A strong spot that I use will give the weaker player all breaks. This is a good thing as it gives the weaker player a chance to break who might not get many opportunities to do so.

Next I must play the eight in a pocket of their choice(usually a side pocket)
they must designate your pocket on your last ball before the eight.

A LOT of good suggestions guys, thanks for taking the time to respond, i appreciate it.
