That's a wrist flick. Very small stroke. It will get you into trouble.
Rick...I suppose it's possible that you came on here 4 years ago, but you didn't start becoming the posting monster you are now until CJ began posting. IIRC, that was two years ago (maybe 3). Either way, your post count shows that you spend most of your time here (has to be several hours at least...every day) posting mostly drivel and incorrect information. The last three things in your post very accurately describe you...arrogance, condescension & self-inflated egos.

More than a few hours a day for sure. Yesterday for instance he started posting at just before 8 am and didn't finish till around 11 pm. Posts most every 3-5-10 minutes.
Factor in the time he takes to find his cheesecake pictures he likes to post on NPR and it is safe to say that he spends nearly all day - every day online either here, or where-ever.
I can only surmise he has nothing else to do in his life. In fact I was shocked to see that he quit early today to go play pool, as he announced. It sure did give us some relief.
I am sure he will be along to debate this, and tell the world about how I am wrong, and taking things out of context, or somehow stalking him, but his posting history is still available to everyone to see, just like everyone else's, at least so far. I can't figure out why several elements of his public profile are no longer visible to the readership. You can only see his stats and blog, you cannot see comments left to him anymore. Didn't know you could turn that off. Regardless that is telling don't you think?

Oh sweetie. It causes speculation for those who are only looking for the worst answer. The PBIA, to my knowledge, is NOT a publicly traded company. Therefore what happens behind closed doors is no business of yours or anyone else'
However, let's just look at your question a little deeper. What IF RandyG was fired from his position? What then? What would you, Richard, do if that were the answer? How would it affect your life?
All I want is a simple truthful answer.

Again, you show your ignorance. The responses were "take a lesson from a QUALIFIED instructor...one who uses video analysis." There certainly are PBIA instructors who do not use video, and instructors who do use video who are not PBIA. Currently it is not mandated that PBIA instructors use video...not so for SPF instructors. If I have my way, it will become mandatory for all PBIA instructors to understand and utilize video analysis as part of their teaching.

This is NOT the first time you have referred to ignorance without actually calling me ignorant. You skirt the rules well & it was your 'veiled' calling another a liar that is the seed root of our issues with one another. I think most unbiased members & visitors can determine for themselves that I am far from ignorant.
Have you never heard of speaking in general terms. I am NOT going to go back & find & quote of all of the times that it was said that one should 'take lessons from a certified instructor, preferably a PBIA instructor, etc. There was no ONE response.
I also said, not so much as of late. The catch phrase was augmented after some 'discussions' regarding the issue.
The bottom line point is that all I did was to ask a simple question of which a simple explanation has not been forthcoming.
Membership & visitors can determine for themselves what that may or may not indicate.
I'm am sure that I do NOT like your 'new' public persona... but I can not say that I am surprised.

Why don't you answer two simple questions? Why is it that you post more in the instructor forum than any other member here, yet no accredited pool instructor organization has ever certified you as a qualified instructor? Why is it that at least one organization has stated that they will never qualify you as an instructor?
Question: Why was Randy removed as president of the PBIA?
Answer: He never was president, so how could he possibly be removed as president?

As to questions... why have you NOT answered the question as to why you took the extensive time & put out the rather enormous effort to go back & erase ALL of your older posts when you did that?

I asked him to state how my question should have been worded & to give an informative explanation.
He has basically refused to do that & no one can force him to do so.
I've stated, possibly elsewhere, that that basically closes the matter, at least until someone else again opens the door should that happen.
It seems that YOU do not want the matter to be closed, at least for now & until possibly someone else brings it back up.
I think it would be better for Randy to provide that explanation instead of someone else that may not have the facts accurate or all of the information, but he has declined that opportunity, at least for now. So be it.
I also think that his refusal to do so fosters speculation that may or may not be accurate.
