Which one is softer? Which one is lighter?

Elforyn is softer than LBM.
In a ferrule size, they are both lightweight and I personally don't see why that is of concern. If you are asking for weight, based on LD properties, you will need to removed a ton of material to get down to a desirable weight.

Check this out, I've tried elforyn in a couple of cues, can't say I liked it better than LBM..
It does however provide a great polished appearance, chalk free, comes in two variations, with or without ivory grain, looks great as an ivory substitute in cue inlays, not considered as strong as juma so not used as much for joint collars.

Elforyn and Juma are both softer than LBM. I am guessing they are lighter also. The Juma rod is larger diameter than LBM so I don't have an easy way of weighing them without turning it down.
You can still do it. The volume of a cylinder equals the length times the area of the end. The area of the end is 3.14 times the radius squared. I'm guessing you actually know all this already, but just didn't think of the practical use of it in this context.
With this you can figure what length to cut to make the volumes come out the same, then weigh them.

Think about it...Would you cut your rod off to weigh it?
