KCRack'em

I'm not argumentative!!!!

I have a TS fancy sneaky that is a flat-faced joint with an elk horn joint per seller. This material is very dark if not black with some lighter grain. I'll post a pic or two as soon as I can. Any thoughts in the meantime?
Thanks,
Karl

nope

It's almost all black, but it does not look synthetic. I'm in elk country and have sheds, so I was very surprised at how black it is.
Picture coming this evening....

no idea what this is!

Here's a picture. I'm baffled. I guess it could be synthetic, but I don't think so.....

interesting

Water buffalo?!?! I had no idea. Is this something desirable? Valuable?
The cue has two shafts, ferrules look like ivory, Hoppe ring that does not look like ivory. Condition overall is excellent. One shaft has light blueing.
Any idea on the value?
Thanks,
Karl

I think this butt cap, hoppe ring, joint, joint collars, and pin were a later addition to this cue. Key words I think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

more info, please

Does anyone else have an opinion about this cue ... could it be original? Any thoughts about value?
Thanks,
Karl

I dont think Scruggs ever built any sneakys like that. Looks like its been altered.

If Scruggs did the buttcap, it would have his TS symbol on it. It looks nice, but its not original.

Not true~! ~see example below~
There are several examples of TS hustlers with buttcaps of delrin (white and black) and various woods (cocobola and tulipwood) that have the 'TS' stamp inbetween the points or other places. Most do, but not all.

But I do agree that the work on this cue is more than likely not from the TS shop - the ringwork and pin aren't like any other examples I have seen/owned.

TS fancy hustler and jump cue below were both purchased directly from a TS dealer. Btw, they are NOT for sale.

Well, I know the one you sold me isnt original. When did you get out of jail?

Best thing to do, ask Tim Scruggs. That doesn't look like a TS to me, good luck with that.

How that cue plays ?

Cue plays VERY well. Shafts are very tight and ferrules look like ivory. I'm not misrepresenting the cue, but rather am asking for opinions. Thanks for your input.
