I am on my way to Vegas, and was supposed to be there tomorrow (I was going to drive through the night tonight). My alternator crapped out on my Ford Explorer in Omaha this evening. I'm looking for a mechanic that might be able to put a new one in tonight or tomorrow. If you're a mechanic, or know somebody that is, in or near Omaha, PLEASE CALL ME ASAP. Huge thanks to Shane and Mark. I got VERY lucky and found someone who actually just finished putting in the new alternator. I am back in biz, and on the road to Vegas in a few hours! This forum is nothing short of amazing! Thanks again to everyone! :thumbup:
