Anyone have the results?
Couldn't stay awake, Hunter and Mike Davis Jr were shooting well. Dechaine and Rodriguez were near the top as well.

Thanks!

Was Justin Bergman, Corey, hall, etc at thus one?

Saw the Swanee and the only 2 MC candidates were Oscar
and Rodney.

Jorge knocked out Mike Davis.

He and Hunter were at 3 apiece in the Semis when I fell out. Dechaine was waiting on the winner's side.

Jorge beat Hunter and then lost to Dechaine in the finals 9-7 I think. Jorge had a chance to make it 8-8, but had to play safe with about 4 balls left and the cue ball leaked out just enough for Mike to see the 5 ball I believe and run out.

Yes, 9-7, ending as you described. The match was tied at 1, 4, and 6, so it was close the whole way. The match had only one break-and-run game, by Rodriguez.

A couple side notes:

• This match was played from about 3:15 am to 4:30 am. There has to be a way to avoid playing pool championships in the middle of the night.

• It looked like Dechaine was playing with a different cue. I checked the OB website and he is no longer on their "Our Team" list. I wasn't aware of that. Was he playing with a South West?

Mike got MC points for WHAT? This event didn't look like MC points to me. We're going to wind up with tree regional players going to the UK. Johnnyt

I was watching the Dechaine / Davis match. Davis was up like 6 to 3 and I think attempted a safety on the one on his hill match. He left Dechaine a shot and the rest was history. Dechaine won every game after and the match.

Just shows the level of play that is required to win. Every shot counts and one mistake can be the game changer.

I fell asleep around 12:30 and I think Dechaine was playing Hunter. Woke up at 5. The stream was off line at that time.

Davis was up like 6 to 3 and I think attempted a safety on the one on his hill match.

Davis gave up ball in hand when he kicked at a 1 from safe position, and it seemed (on the stream anyway) to go uncharacteristically long, and whizzed right on by it.
That's where the tides changed.

Dechaine is playing a streamed match right now at Snookers in Rhode Island. UpstateAl confirmed that Dechaine is no longer with OB Cues and is currently using a South West cue.

[But I don't know whether it is a SW shaft.}
