Only problem with the blank canvas or "The Turkish Prison Motif" is actually getting started on the blank canvas. I have most of my ideas set now and even went and bought the paint but I must cease "the playing of the pool" to spiff up the room. I just do not see that happening in the near future.:shakehead:
I like mine just the way it is. That shot was taken only a week after we moved in. So far, it's really deee-lux with two bar height director's chairs.
I keep it very neat, but I like the cement floors and walls. Don't have to worry about somebody smashing a beer on the floor, etc.
I've got a comfortable chair, it's heated and air conditioned, and a nice table away from the rest of the world. Who could ask for more?
I'm totally astounded at how level my table is now. Over two days and eleven hours they replaced a "waffled" foot slate and rebuilt it up from the floor shims.
What really surprised the heck out of me was that he didn't use a machinist's level. Just a two foot quality level, and a stretched out STRING!. I can't argue with the results. I've tried to find a bad roll, and it doesn't exist. So I guess there are other ways to do it.
It's so level, that they found my ten ball is slightly out of round. We couldn't figure out one bad area, and his helper said try swapping out the ball. All other 15 balls tracked laser straight on the same path. I finally got rid of those damn Olhuasen pocikets. He had some Brunswick NOS pockets in brown. It actually mimics the very early red pockets. No more rattling balls. Life is good. Yeah, this guy is some sort of real asshole. I wasted too much time trying to help him, also...
