Today, I received a package from Enigmaticul with more than my postage money and a really attractive letter opener with a buffalo horn handle and a nice, private note.

Thank you Andrei and I wish you the best in your future endeavors.

He Only did that because he got called out for it by you, and he has crappy cues he wants to be able to sell. He's still a dirt bag. If you didn't respond to the other thread,...you'ld still be waiting 5 months from now. Notice how he hasn't responded to anyone in that thread once he got called out for the wrong case and owing you money?
Dave

Dave, He responded to the situation in a positive manner and I am usually willing to give someone a second chance.

I have not seen his cues. I have been building cues since 1992 and I am sure that my first ones were not as well built or as pretty as those I build today. As I began to build cues, some cuemakers would offer advice if it was asked for by me and others would not. I am still very grateful to Kim Van Zandt, Toeboy Rickard, Gary Medlin and others for helping me to enter this cuemaking world. There was no forum, like we have today with AZ, where one could seek advice from cuemakers all over the world. We also have the ACA, where members share info and help one another. The info situation is still the same-some will offer help and others will not. One just has to find the right cuemaker to get help.

I placed the post because he did the right thing- there was a situation that needed to be corrected. He did that and more. So, If I cranked him in the forum when, in my opinion, he could have responded sooner, then I need to let folks know that he did what was proper and went beyond what was required.

This post is kinda long-winded, I know, but I have tried to explain the situation as I saw it.

Well said.

You should never be judged when you make a mistake or bad judgment call. You should be judged by the next actions you make after the fact.

JMO,

Rick

Very true Rick. But he was also being judged on many past indiscretions, not just one.

Several came back on him at once.
