Johnny P, get real, most of those home-made tables have bushelbasket pockets! Every decent player in the area knows that. Also, the tables are so low you almost have to play on your knees. Super nice place though with good food and friendly management. If they ever invested in better equipment it could be anong the best places to play in SoCal without a doubt. Danny K's does plenty of business without having better eqiupment.

Pocket Size

Because the sport is not in control of its own destiny yet, the table/mfg. will do as they have always done. Their lack of "vision" of ever creating the sport and the rest will come is not within their scope, most all of them think of it as if it were another monopoly game. The word misspent youth is true within our sport only because, "where do you go from here?" and the answer is, where the table/BCA/mfg decide to take you, back to your basement until you leave home.
