Ernie Martinez' 4th Batch

Good morning. I heard from BrooklynJay and he will have his selection made by early evening. He has some questions for Ernie befor it's made.

Something has come up and I need for you to skip me on the Martinez list. Just bypass me and move the next person up and I will take a selection from the next batch.

Joe,

First, my name is Dave ;). Secondly, you do realize that if a plainjane is available when it's your selection and you pass, you give up your spot on the list. The only time you can pass and move to the next batch is if there are only pointed cues available and you prefer a plainjane. In that instance, you move to the top of the next batch to only select a plainjane (if you pass at that point you are off the list).

I understand that things change but I thought it only right that I remind you of the rules everyone has agreed to when joining the list.

Thanks for letting me know. If you choose to remain on the list you simply select your choice when it's your turn. If after reading this you still want out, no hard feelings, we'll just move on.

I will gladly exchange my spot with anyone from a later spot, if they wish to do so. First person on a later list to post here can exchange spots with me and have my current selection spot and I will revert to theirs.

Anyone know and know how to contact cmxv? If so, if you could PM me a phone number or email or contact him on my behalf, that would be great. I haven't heard from him after PMing him and I do not any other contact info for him.

If we don't hear from him shortly after Jay pics, we just may skip over him to keep things moving since there has been no response so far. If he shows up after others have picked he would still be welcome to pick from what's left.

We are not adding anyone to the list at this time, sorry. But keep watching this thread because we have already had 6 people opt out for various reasons so there will be at least 6 cues available - first to those on the list, but if some remain we will open them up to the AZ community. Ernie needs to sell thes cues.

We realize the cue buying climate has changed, so we'll just go with the flow.

Cuesblues Selection

Ted (cuesblues) contacted me to select #447. Thank you for your selection.

Please post your selection in this thread if possible so we can move this along. Joe & Ted said they won't get to a computer today so I appreciate their contacting me.

George, your second up but we have not had success contacting Bruce to see what he intends to do so if you have 2 selections in mind, PM me with them in order f preference and as soon as I learn what Bruce is doing I will be happy to post your selection for you.

Here's the update. Bruce is missing in Action :confused: so we will skip him for the time being. George is now up followed by Jager Monster and then Matty.

Once we go through these 3, I will make the remainder of the cues available to all those on the list. We'll run that for a couple days then open them up to the AZ community.

Thanks again for your support of Ernie. I know the cue buying climate has changed but let's not forget why the list was created. There are nice cues left and the couple I hit play great.

Thank you. As mentioned, once we finish with the last three on the list, I will open the available cues to those on the list. Ernie needs to sell these so if after the first day o fthe public list affering, I would be happy to sell you as many as you want. I just want to give those on the list a chance first. After that, whatever is left will be open to the AZ community that are not on the list.

We just want to reward those that have commited to the list and waited so patiently before anyone else. This process has meant a great deal to Ernie and by the way, he's doing awesome. Working everyday - but has way to many repairs going on for my liking :rolleyes: :D.

I'm glad he's doing well.

Btw - for the people passing. I understand where you are coming from, my turn came when I was extremely short on funds. But I gave my word so I went ahead and figured if I had to I could sell something.

Well, turns out I don't regret it one bit. The cue I have hits GREAT and I haven't touched my Schon once since I got it. Money comes and goes, but getting an EM original in a way that helped him personally is more important to me than the money.

Thank you, Regas, for the kind words for me and the excellent way you reminded everybody of the original intent for the list. It was and still is to help Ernie get back on his feet. I hope these cues sell quickly - I can't believe that nice ebony 4-pointer is still available.

For your convenience...Available Cues: 448, 449, 450, 451, 453, 454, 455, 456, 458, 461.
