Escrow a must when dealing with jcvpooljunkie

Sent payment on 2/16, no cue or communication since.

C'mon.. You know better. Guys got 50 posts and you send him $ before he ships the cue?

I NEVER send $ first unless I know the person. Item ships to me first or I have them ship it to a well known maker I and the seller know... That's the only way I deal....In your case if no maker than you're right, escrow is a must...

I hope you get your cue...

Yeah I don't buy or sell to anyone with that has been on for that short of time. It's not worth the hassle.

It also says his location is in England.
Much harder to deal with things internationally vs. domestically.

did you fund it with a credit card thru paypal (I hope)?

if so, you have some recourse.

the number he listed in the linked thread is a CT number, btw.

We have people like that try to bet in the action room, they post the funds and gain trust slowly.

Up and shipping some unknown guy with no prior transactions $240 or so assuming he is honorable is "not" what people on AZB should be doing. That type of thing will bring scammers and thieves from far and wide.

I'm sure you sent as a service. Just file a claim with PayPal. Easy to fix. If you paid as a gift it was a good lesson I guess

Here' my take on PayPal. If a seller is legitimate, they should NEVER ask you to gift the payment, NEVER.

Heck, worse case scenario, pay it as product and ship a few extra bucks to the seller. Now, you just bought insurance for a few bucks.

Money well spend imho.

Thanks to all who have posted. I still feel that most people can be trusted to to the right thing regardless of their Itrader or number of posts. It is just too bad that the few bad guys make it hard for the good guys.

Someday, somewhere, somehow this will come back and bite the culprit in the azb...

Post up his name, address, phone number, last girfriends name, what he ate for breakfast, last time he took a poo. Heck post anything you can about this scumbag. Sorry this happened to you man, you are one of the good guys and deserve much better than this.

Somewhere, someone that knows him and doesnt like him will read this and hopefully confront him the next time he is in his local poolhall. A bad reputation here and locally will be hard to shake.
