Espiritu cue?

I was at a pawn shop today and looked at what they claimed to be an Espiritu cue. How can I tell for sure if that's what it was? Do they have a marking or something that would tell you for sure that's what it is? If it is it needed some refinishing.

all i have ever seen are signed and dated

i've had three. all were signed and dated. cues hit great but metal rings/expansion caused cracks in finish over them. if finish is original with no sig/date it is suspicious to me.

I might have overlooked the signature. I was looking more towards the bottom of the cue for a name, I'm not that familiar with custom cues. But I planning on getting familiar with them. I'm gonna go back and look at it again. It did have cracks in the finish.
