ESPN classic gone???

Anybody else lose ESPN classic off of your cable service? All of a sudden last week it just disappeared, now just a black screen. Damn, I was hoping to watch the 2001 WPBA classic again for the 600th time. Oh well.:(

Yes, in the Tampa area ESPN Classic was dropped by Bright House Cable and it's channel (#26) was assigned to VERSUS (which used to show the I.P.T. matches)...
I prefer ESPN Classic.
 
Mediacom dropped the channel long ago. I've made several requests that they add it back to the line-up and they don't seem at all receptive to that idea. They say the channel costs too much.

I avoided the opportunity to roll my eyes and say, "Gee, I think I know what THAT feels like." LOL

We still have it on the West Coast

I still have ESPNC. I'm in Colorado Springs it is chnl 176 on Comcast.
Sorry you lost it.
 
Time Warner moved it on our system to a different cable channel, but it's still available.

Yesterday it was 103 and 110 - today I just get it on 110 on Bright House. I hope they don't drop it, I enjoy a lot of the programs.

I believe that Bright House removed it from 'basic cable'. You must have HD with the Bright House box.

#208 on Directv. I just watched the 2007 US Poker Championship. (Yes I meant 2007)

By the way the WSOP main event is going on right now.
 
time warner moved it from 69 to 151 and now it hangs up the controller for a couple minutes every time you go through the chanels and hit on 69 but maybe they will put something real gooood on that chanel with the magic number.

Speaking of paying for ESPNC, here on the west coast Charter has ESPNC bundled with several sports channels and it costs extra.

I pay the extra just for the pool matches.
