Espn Classic

I came home early from work today and saw the recording light on my satellite. I'm glad I set that thing to record every episode of classic billiards.
 
I just figured out how to do that myself. Too bad. I missed Mosconi getting whipped by "the deacon". I love hearing Mosconi whine. Did he eat cheese with his whine ???

Wish I wasn't working. Wish even more our cable company still carried ESPNC. They stopped airing ESPNC here about 2 years ago. :mad:

LOL Ya know, they say it takes a lot of heart to be a champion as many times as Mosconi, and they also say a little whine is good for the heart. ;)
 
Yep, and I'm sure he was in pretty good shape, too! Running from all that competition and all! Great post! We all do whine from time to time, myself more than others perhaps. But still, I get more pleasure from hearing Mosconi do it.

Lassiter was the best player out of the bunch at that time. He was a little younger than any of them. I think he ended up winning too.

Hell, won't be able to get any gambling action on it now...
