ESPN Films 30-for-30 Jeanette Lee-vs..............Premieres December 13 at 8 pm ET.

I searched for it this morning and found two YouTube accounts that had recorded it and tried to repost.
Both were terminated.

It might show up on ESPN's YouTube Channel. Such a shame if the Pool world doesn't get to see it.
Pool seems to be occupying a niche of "diverse content". Sports Channels maybe interested in title
matches for its power as "diverse content" for their subscribers but the actual viewership of the sport
is building really slow. https://www.youtube.com/@espn

I agree with others about the abruptness of how it ended. Early clips were fun to see.

I feel like it was very courageous of Jeanette, whose beauty is such a huge part of her brand, to allow access to cameras that document her struggle with this ugly disease.

The Black Widow is irreplaceable and remains one of the absolute best ambassadors of our sport.

Always wishing her the very best.

I am appreciative that ESPN showcased her and pool. It may not have been ideal but still pretty good, imo.

best,

I thought the show was well done. As far as the "abruptness" at the end, I'm guessing that was at Jeanette's wishes. I can't imagine how hard it is for a C patient to go at length about what's left to come. I've had close family members go through it. God bless her.

The idea that Koreans are part of America is the big sell.

Most Americans have never met a Korean or have been spoken to in Korean.

A mom and her daughters are adapting.

The ESPN audience would get it, if they watched it.

A much higher quality production than that CBS disaster. They gave time to a fog machine.
Shane's segment on 60 minutes was likely a year in the making. The footage of Derby City had to be from January of this year, as it's coming up next month.

CBS and 60 minutes is not a pool playing audience. It was a positive for pool exposure.

Jeanette VS is for pool fans and a better narrative for what pool can do to transforms someones life. Jeanette gaining a life goal and purpose is better than the short clip on Shane and other pool industry members.

I watched the man show with Jeanette on it. It was good from her part but I
can't stand those guy's, they are two stupid assholes.

All things considered, I thought was a very good production.

Sure, us pool fans would have appreciated a more in depth analysis of her life and career, but I think they were fairly thorough in covering her background and pool experience.

It was heartwarming to see how emotional Allison Fisher got when talking about Jeanette's current struggles.

I hope Jeanette has more time ahead of her to see her family and life overall.

Allison and Jeanette were rivals and fierce competitors for well over a decade after Allison arrived on tour. Those who know Allison know she has warm heart and is far from the cold blooded Dutchess of Doom personality she displays in a match. The WPBA family is a small fraternity that is very close and supportive when any of their players are struggling in their personal lives away from the table.

Many years ago. I got the chance to help with a women's regional tour year end event in Mooresville at 150 and Out,(RIP).
It was 32 ladies playing Modified Round Robin with a Double Elimination Final. Becky Todd was the director of the Ms. Cues
Tour Event who put it together.

I have never seen anything like it. Those girls flew in, drove in, rented cars together to get there. When they got there they hugged
each other, acted right, looked nice and all the perfume in the room was very nice. I got to referee and meet all of them. It was something
I will never forget. They truly are very family like in their relationships with one another. I wish I'd seen it. I did find a link where Hulu says its
going to have it that I posted yesterday, but you have to be a subscriber which probably also means it would be easier watched on a TV.
I'm still working on that. If accessed from a computer I suspect, it will take an active log in to see it.

If it's a "family", who were the players that shunned Jeanette when she first arrived on tour? She made it sound like they were all bitter and hated her and there was mention of many cliques in the tour. It sounded like there was a lot of drama to navigate. It's easy to be lovey-dovey when someone is struggling in the life, but my takeaway was the women on tour are/were a bit two faced. Maybe not all of them, but it was evident that existed.
