well after reading and looking at alot of customcue's,
there is a real difference between the 2 continents about look preferences.
Here is a design i made for one of my customs. everyone i know finds it AMAZING, but im sure alot of people overseas prefer the more traditional looks.
over here, we prefere the darker woods like ebony etc.
anyway, what u think of this design?
i call it the eclipse cuz im a nightperson (working from 6pm till 5am) and i barely see the sun. i love it
but i can imagine many here would find it to look to much as a cheaper cue with decals.
why is this difference? is because of the greather history of cuemakers in the states, or because of the popularity of balabushka's, runda's, etc. people prefere something that reminds them of the good old times , whereas in europe we dont have a big and long poolhistory, 90% plays with cheap (max 150$) productions, and therefore prefere the more cheaper modern looks? (even if i think my cue looks like a million bucks
