Ever see one of these sticks before?

Take your game to the next level folks! Anyone ever see one of these gadgets before? I didn’t know if I should post here, or in for sale, or auctions. I’m not the seller. Lol.

They were demonstrating those at the BCA show one year. It actually had different levels you could cock it for different power shots. I knew a guy in a wheelchair who actually used one.
 
A guy that plays at our place has one, really is totally ineffective. Shaft comes out from the cocked position at only one speed.
 
This might be good for someone testing various cue balls spin draw. etc. It could take the human element out of the stroke.
Only if it provided consistent enough power and I'm guessing that spring tension system isn't the most accurate and repeatable?
 
I saw one of these, or something very similar, in the late 70s. Jerry Briesath used it as a teaching tool to demonstrate to students that inaccuracy in a shot is usually due to stroke inconsistency rather than a bad aim.
 
It can’t be much worse than those Ramin wood cues that doubled as a walking cane. LOL I’m assuming that you could at least use it like a regular cue if you don’t cock the spring.
