I have used the Trangle tip for long time and would like to switch to a different one. Just wondering which one you like the best and why??

Thanks!!

That's a pretty good scam to get everyone to vote for snipers...I'll verify that it does, in fact, send you to that thread.

Now can someone figure out where everest takes you?

Glad to see Snipers are still popular, I tried to sell 3 old ones for $25 with no interest. Everest tips seem to be the most popular among cue makers, however.

yes, Mcdermott using Everest. But for average people, you think most people like Sniper more?

The OB line of cues and shafts come with an Everest as well. I believe the Predator shafts now come with Everests as well.

I have been playing with one for 3-4 years now and I love it. I did however just order a Tiger Onyx tip, so I'll let you know how that goes.

And Cory Barnhart uses everest tips on his cues. I think there are many. They have a different feel, but can spin the ball great.

I used to think Sniper's were the superior tip and revered by many, but I guess not. They definitely have a different feel than everests. I'm so confused :).

Super strange thing happened when I voted on this (Sniper btw). When I clicked vote I was taken to a thread from 7 years ago.

I was taken to a thread which Keith McCready posted in actually

You have acquired the dreaded McCready-Hall worm virus. Soon you will pause before your final stroke. During that pause, you will look at your oppenent and say "double or nuthin?", then slowly glance back at the shot, salivate, give a crooked half smirk, and run out the set in minutes while one stroking everything else.

I now like the Everests better. I have one on my OB Classic and love it.

The ferrule type, length, and shaft weight make a difference to me as to what tip hardness I want. To me, the shafts with the short ferrules feel better with a medium tip.

I have used both tips and find that the Sniper is a little to hard for me. It's a good tip but I prefer the Everest which measures a hardness of 73-76. The Sniper measures 77-80 I believe. I'm interested in the new Tiger Onyx which measures all the same as the Everest, it's just treated differently over a longer period.

That is to funny :D, there is not one player that I have ever seen run a rack so effortlessly as Kieth does when he is on the roll I saw him run 7 in a row one and if he stroked 2 time before any shot I missed it,
what a thing of beauty

they both share similar characters like the prices, hardness. also made by Tiger co. but I have never tried any of them, so want to know what other people' thought.
