Experimental new Varney j/b...discounted!!!

Varney Cues

Handcrafted quality!

SOLD
This cue started life as an experimental cue. Normally I don't sell these but since this one worked so well I decided to offer it here. The cue is basically pretty ugly...but it works like a champ!:D It features dual 3/8-10 joints, an antiqued straight grain maple forearm and a rosewood butt. Nothing fancy or exotic with this wood...just pure function. It has the longer extended forearm/jumphandle for better leverage & accuracy...yet the maple keeps it light for close jumps. The shaft is from my standard j/b cues, 13mm & very stiff. This shaft is a bit different though as it has a green G10 glass ferrule with my canvas resin tip. I'll give a lifetime warranty on the tip & ferrule. The cue is 17oz as the lighter j/b's seem so popular today. A bit of weight can be added if desired. Like I said, I generally don't sell test cues like this but I decided this one needs to be used. If you can live with the looks then you'll be very happy with 100% of the Varney j/b performance. My jb's start at $375 and they now have a waiting list approaching 6 months. I will not make anymore exactly like this one...so you can own this unique cue today. The cue is straight apart & together.
Since its so ugly...I'll discount it here for my fellow AZ'ers. I'll take the first offer of ***price deleted*** and that includes Priority shipping. Cashiers check, money order, or PayPal accepted. Thank you for looking.:)

I like it.....but, it would be  if the ferrule matched the natural ringwork and buttcap -- just my $.02 :D

Well if the ferrule was brown then it'd be a lot like some of my other cues and not so "experimental".;) :D
Another cuemaker urged me to try the G10. While I found it didn't hold chalk well as a tip, it did work great as a ferrule...so I then installed my j/b tip which does hold chalk wonderfully.
I've already had some low ball offers to steal it...I'm not giving it away. I will sell it fast though so I guarantee it won't last long. I'll sell it to the first serious "reasonable" offer that I like though...:)
