Extra long cue - who and how long?

Have a friend who needs a longer cue, currently trying a 6" extension and may even need longer than that. So, who does cues in the 64-68" range? Is that something most cue makers can do on request or are some limited by their equipment?

And yes, he's tall with a very large wingspan, which is why he's looking for something longer.

I would build it as a 60" cue and make a removable extension for it so it can go in most cases.

64 incher

Guy 6 8 had me make him a 64 inch cue. Sent it back about a year later and had it cut to 62 inches.

Have made a 63" cue for customer, loved it myself. 64" is longest I can make, as you suggest, many cuemakers will be limited by their equipment.

This may or may not be your permanent solution, but it is a great way to discover how long of a cue you really need, without spending a fortune.

Good to know, thanks! 64" is definitely getting up there so it's nice to see that length is possible at least.
