F/S 1985 Schon/Runde cue

When you say ''roll' or ''bend'' in the butt is it in the handle or fore arm?And you say it's been appraised for $2200,is that with the butt issues and who appraised it?Thanks

New?

Thanks for the questions. I don't have A lathe so I made two makeshift live centers or V- blocks. with the joint pin in one and an extended weight bolt resting in the other, i rotated the cue and took a measurement with a dial indicator on what i think is the highest part of the bow, hump or bend or whatever you may want to call it. I came up with 45 thousandths out of true at the top of the handle. To figure out exactly why and how much it is not true it has to be put on an accurate lathe, preferably by a cue maker. I think the handle itself has a slight bow in it [the wood under the wrap] I am not going to say for sure what is wrong or why it has a slight bow when i cant tell. I've played only with this cue for the past 2 years with a 291/2 inch Szamboti shaft, the cue plays awesome the way it is. Am saving the shaft for the new owner. I had two appraisals and neither one new of the bow in the butt. They both gave there opinions as a favor to me so ill keep there names to myself, but one is very well known worldwide and the other is a dealer for new and used cues for i'm not sure how long but he knows his cues and i'm sure his name would be familiar if you here'd it. there appraisals were only 100.00 apart from each other. I could spend 3 to 5 hundred dollars fixing it but why, it would not be all original and the bend doesn't effect the playability in my opinion, if i'm wrong please explain. Thanks for vewing

I think you ment Knew?
