I've held on to this one as long as I could and I really hope that sometime in the future I will get another like it, though not likely.I know its its just a production cue and not as desireable as collector cues go but I'm hoping there is someone out there that maybe has a Viking collection.
For those who don't collect but still might be interested this was the top of the line in 1981 and sold for $400 with one shaft. An extra shaft was $75. It has Wico veneers [vinyl], J/P's and I picked up an old vinyl 1x2 Viking case to make up a really nice "set". The only blemish that I can find is a "rub" on the butt end of the wrap. You can see that in the attached pictures.
Now believe me I know the economy is down and the market sucks but regardless I'm going to ask for a $1000. Thats about $500 below its relative value with the case and extra shaft added. Thanks Don
