Joel Davidas is his name.Pretty much handmade cues that hit so freakin good is unreal.I won't rant on to much but to find a hit like this guy has found on his cues is either lucky or rare.Either way the more info I get and opinions on the way his cues play are all good. And as his cuemaking experience grows it will only get better and better.G:smileWho is JD? Jim Lee? J & D Custom Cues?
That is one bad mamba jamba...nice cue...
Nice JD, do you ship to europe? Denis
Pm a price and trades your looking for ...
woo~~~seems Joel might have some problem , I bought this cue directly from him and, well~~~they both looks good aren't they?
I just showed the photos in the first post here to my wife and asked her who made the cue and she immediately said Joe (meaning Joe C).
Obviously Joe Davidas knows how to build a cue, but as soon as I saw that cue, I recognized those diamonds as Joe Callaluca's. I don't understand why he had to copy the cue exactly (minus the silver rings).
He could have changed it up a little and nobody would have even said a word.

A friend of mine bought a JD cue and he really likes it. The detail on it looks really good. The cue has sharp points and veneers look real good. The cue is suppose to have ivory and it does look grainy like ivory should. (Not to discount it but I've seen some Ivorine that you couldn't tell the difference between the two and shipping Ivorine from the Phillipines would be much easier than real Ivory....) He uses a McDermot shaft instead of the one that goes with it but said he likes the hit of it.
These cues go for about $250 -- $350 & that includes shipping.
Didn't know if you knew that...
So what's your point..I see cues that sell for 3 or 4 times what they sold for new all the time..People buy SW's new and sell them for hundreds more than they pay for them..Pick a high end maker...They ALL sell for more than they are new..
