2004 custom break/jump cue from JW Petree. Ebony points into straight grain maple. Eight amboyna diamond inlays, bordered by an ivory colored material (holly?) above the buttcap. Flat laminated shaft with a phenolic tip, has a slight wobble when rolled. Radial screw at the shaft joint and 3/8-10 screw at the jump joint. Specs are:

Butt - total weight = 15.7 oz., 29.5" long (not counting bumper)
Jump section - weight = 5.45 oz. 16" long
Shaft - 4.0 oz., 30" long (not counting tip), 13.2 mm

Several people have broken with the cue and can testify how much power it generates. I'm not much of a jumper, so take it with a grain of salt that it jumps fine for me. It is in overall very good shape with a couple of finish scuffs that don't go through to the wood.

New price $225 shipped to continental U.S. Out of country buyer would pay actual shipping.

Scott

Trade?

I have a 2nd gen X breaker, golden oak, no wrap. About 19 oz. all original. Near mint condition. All straight.
I just wanted a longer jump handle.
X breaker reputation speaks for itself as well:)
Interested on trade?
Pm for reply please.
Thanks,
Dennis.

Ahhhhh....got it. I'm looking for cash on this one. Thanks.

I'm selling it because I play so seldom that I have no need for a dedicated break cue. For that matter, I probably have no need for a cue these days. :frown:

This is by far the greatest break cue I have ever used. I would take it if I didn't know how crooked the cue maker was.... cue maker, not the cue...

if i had the extra cash i would gladly take it off your hands i've broke with tncountryboy's and it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was just digging this cue when I read this one.
Just curious what the story on this is/was. Any dirty details?

Petree owes me (and I think others) money and/or cues from several years ago. He's assured me several times that he will make it right.

Which will never happen. He has taken tens of thousands of dollars from hard working people with no effort to even attempt to right his wrongs, and continues to "sell cues for his customers"....

Great cue, horrible maker.

New lower price - $250 shipped to conUS. Happy Monday, everyone.
