is it really a sneaky with the hoppe ring??
wouldnt that make it alittle more expensive than a plain sneaky??
just asking
looking to be educated since to me many cues are called sneakys that arent sneaky:D
dont mean to side track the sale
pm me if you wish

edit: I retract my statement as more knowledgeable people posted. Thanks!

In my opinion a sneaky has no wrap or joint collars and looks like a house cue! However as far as price, this is not his early work and the value is like Chris stated. I traded one in near mint condition, wrapless for $650. If it was a 4 veneer cue it would bring a little more but still way short of your asking price! I kept the sneaky

I would say its fancy sneaky with wrap, butt cap, hoppe and joint. But short splice is what it makes cue sneaky pete, fancy one though

Chris is 100% right on this one. It's a sneaky with a hoppe ring, which does make it more rare than a usual sneaky, but not enough to bring in what you're asking. I'd put it around $600-700. Most people who want a Scruggs sneaky don't want a cue with a wrap as well, or they would just look for a plain 4 point Scruggs. Hope this helps. Cheers :embarrassed2:

Thanks for all of you guys info. I will let my friend know this. He told me one guy did offer him close to what his is asking. So I'll see what he wants to do.
