Took a lesson from the limey 2 weeks agoish... Was actually Halloween so I didn't get to go trick or treating so FU #1

He pointed out how week my bridges and stances were and called me lazy.... FU #2

He criticized my PSR in it's entirety... FU #3

Fixed my raising up... FU #4 for knowing why I was doing it when I didn't =P

Now that I got that out of my system I would like to announce I finally HAVE a PSR and my bridges and stance are coming along very quickly....

Nothing like having another set of eyes on you to identify flaws even when you know better...... After playing for years lots of the things we went over resounded inside my head but I had gotten complacent... I was wayyyy lazier than even I thought I was and my laziness is legendary.....

If Lee is in your neck of the woods I would highly recommend taking the opportunity to set up a class or individual lessons....

Thanks Lee... and FU #5 ( I hate even numbers)

I only read the first half of every post, wow ! ;)

Wow, did this thread take a turn for the better after opening it or what......

Thanks for sharing your lesson experience with Lee. It truly is "eye" opening when someone else with true knowledge & insight evaluates your actions and results with the game. We can all become lazy and complicit with the status quo, and even become blind to the faults tall tell signs, even after reviewing our own videos and not seeing some of the ugliness.

I've also recently been honored to have someone* point out some issues I was "Blind" to seeing. I still have some things to learn and work on, but now have a better understanding of the issues that have been holding me back from further progress. Knowing is half the battle now isn't it. I have already seen some micro advances just from some killer pointers, but there is yet a long way to go. I'll be reporting back to him in a month and see where I've gotten to that point.

Now Chris, get busy & stop being so damn lazy. Refine those skills and post some 10 pack videos buddy!

Dopc. Would post video, but a 2 pack just isn't cool now is it.... :crying::thud:

FU #5 is the fact i can make his tips do more than he can lol

Keep that up and you might become the national spokesman for the new Outsville K-tech II.
I was sucking up for that position, but I've got a lot to do, and my Exploding Ferrules business is really taking off.

scott lee did the same for me. you gotta get yourself a video of you shooting. you'd be surprised how many mistakes you catch yourself making when you can see yourself making them.

i've checked out lee's videos. his hold the cue with the "v" thing really helped me out. glad you got help with your game. now post up a high run in the 14.1 section

Lee "the hooligan" Brett is the only human I let work on my fundamentals. He is top notch in that area.

Beard

Hey Freddy,

I was telling a guy yesterday that the living legend "Freddy the beard" gave me the nickname, he said that's a honor for someone like you to give me it.

Well I took a four hour lesson with Lee. First of all he talked about the game. He is very passionate about teaching and helping you with your game. Now he watched me and made notes about what he saw. He then went through the things he saw. His corrections were very through......Stance Pace and hid aiming ideas are simple direct and work. After just that four hours I started to shoot straight again I was shooting table length shots on a triple shimmed 9ft. gold crown that is unforgiving. I found a little of a good stroke in a short time. I look forward to the next few weeks learning to use what Lee imparted to my game. Spend the money Spend the time Lee Brett is a good choice.

Lee, where can I find your updated traveling schedule ? I went to your website but I couldn't find it.

After a rather scary start, it all sounds good! I'm glad your experience was really positive.

Hey Barry,

Great to meet you buddy, and glad to help you, don't be ruining your action telling everyone you got your stroke back ;)

Hope to see you at derby and good luck with your game.

Lee

Well.

I had to spend EIGHT hours with this damn guy today.

I have to agree with you man... F Lee Brett.

Why did you have to show me how bad I suck at this game and how poor the fundamentals I didn't have are?

God dammit. Now I have even more of a reason to love(hate) pool.

You realize how much money you're going to cost me? All this extra table time I'll have to put in?

Anyways. I'd recommend Lee to anyone who wants to delve deeper into pool...

Today was a real eye opener. I thought I was getting a lot better before today. But I know I'llhave to take two or three steps backwards now. The good thing is that I'll be 20 steps ahead after I apply this stuff.

I hope I wasn't too much a pain or bad of a student.

Thanks. Seriously. I really needed this.

The ONLY suggestion I would make is up the cost a little and throw in a binder like yours with all of the drills and your DVD.

Or don't up the cost and just throw them in :D

Thanks Lee. Can't wait til we meet again.
