Facebook is the last place anyone should to when it comes to accurate information about anything. Facebook caused a misfire with Grady's passing as well as Danny's.

As a collective group, it's a good idea if we all wait a few days after we receive word of someone's passing (maybe once it hits the obituaries) before posting it here. Otherwise, we risk having that person read AZB and read about their own death, right as they're fighting for their life--- which could be disheartening.

Please, I'm not knocking Steve as he's one of my favorite posters as he thought he was doing the right thing; nor am I knocking or blaming the other guy who reporting Grady's death prematurely. All I'm saying is let's err to the side of posting late versus posting early unless we 10000% know someone has passed. Late is OK, early could cause grief.

Sorry again Dave and everyone else here, i feel really horrible about this. I did reach out to the mods, hopefully they can delete it before to much grief is caused !!!

I just got a call earlier from A close friend of Danny's who was with him, and we were discussing getting some fundraising going to help with his meds and eventually the final expenses. You can imagine the pit in my stomach when I read he had passed. I called our mutual friend immediately and he put Danny on the phone. What a relief!

I am wrapping up the Interviews I did with Danny and his many friends from Colorado and beyond. A lot of really great stories from Danny and others. I would love it if Danny was gonna be with us for a long time but it just isn't in the cards. He has made peace with his maker and I'm glad for that.

He sure loved our great sport and certainly made a difference in it. He will most certainly be missed.
