Faces for the names

Hey Tommy,

I thought you might be embarrased about something :D :D

Mike

yeah, I was embarrased because I had been drinking pretty much all day and was still standing. I was also embarrased because it was my reunion and I didn't recognize 95% of the people that were saying "hey, Tommy". lol

Well, I assumed sunburn!

Don't you hate that...seeing people you don't remember is the worst. You have to play it off like you remember!!

Try this:

Random person: "hey tommy, what's up?"
T: "Wow, I wondered if you'd be here [as you look at name tag], it's great to see you, how are you?"

I've done this way too many times!!

I think you pretty much just quoted my responses word for word, except mine were slurred I'm sure. I did win the Karaoke contest though, with my beautiful rendition of "Celebration" by Kool and the Gang!

I have had to do it too many times. I live where I have grown up my entire life, so I see old classmates all the time, from elementary school on up. I had a girl come up to me at Winn Dixie when I was a junior. She said hey Chrissy (which was my name through 1st grade). I acted as if I knew exactly who it was, but when I walked away my mom asked who she was and my response, "I have no clue, but she says she was in my 1st grade class." I didn't want to ask her name so I still don't know!

That hilarious...I'm trying to picture a drunk, who is slurring, and singing!! Quite funny!

I was only kidding about the slurring. I usually don't slurr my words no matter how drunk I am. It's really quite remarkable. Did you change your name after 1st grade? I changed my name to Sergei one time when I was drinking Vodka.

Sorta! My name is christina, but everyone always called me chrissy. Well, after 1st grade I decided that chrissy was for a little kid...so, I changed it to chrisTy...

Ok, I'll be in JAcks on Saturday night and I'll be staying at a hotel near the airport. Is that too far away for a cab ride to University? If so which would be the best?

Oh I didn't mean for this to be in reference to the line of posts in this thread BTW

This post threw me way off, because I read the post before I looked at the user!!

UBC is about 20 miles from JAX Airport. I don't know what "too far" for a cab ride is to you, but you can figure on about a 20-30 minute drive. There really isn't a pool hall any closer. All the others I mentioned would be about the same distance give or take a few miles.

I suppose since I'll be meeting a lot of AZB people at the DCC I should post one of myself.

Here you go:

Oddly enough, I'm in a poolhall, but I don't have a cue in my hand. I'll have to see if I can get an action shot taken sometime! :p

Drum and Drummer

Wilson, et al,

I am computer challenged regarding posting pics. However I am in a band and our website is www.fatchance-band.com and my photo is in there. I'm the good looking one who doesn't play anything with strings.

Here is a picture of me holding the reason why I stopped shooting pool...during a nice wintry New England Sunday. Yes, I am a real person. :)
