Fair price for this?

Its a more than fair price for him. See the gaps at the bottom of the Joss sneaky?

The case is nothing special. 70% of our league players use the exact case because they are cheaper than Borscht.

If you have $800 to spend, you could get yourself a serious nice used custom, a new or used case that is much better than that. Any of the other Sterling line of cases are a tad better than that one. Those particular ones are are spring loaded if I am on the money.
Myself, I don't care for those much.

Worry about a break and jump cue later.

A bar cue will break just as well as that Joss, if that is what it is being used for.

I have heard nothing but good things about the new Lucasi Hybrid plain Jane Merry Widows. They look great. You could have yourself one of those, a decent case, and maybe enuff left over for a used break cue and a lower priced jumper. Poison for example.

I live in Canada, things are much more pricey. If I walked into a Pawn Shop and saw that outfit, the most I would offer is around $200 and that is if I really wanted it bad.

More trying to educate myself on the relative value of cues. I'm actually quite happy with my $200 R360. A break stick and I'm good to go. For now. Lol.
